KI BMS is what people use when BITE BeeSite stops fitting. Below is the honest side-by-side - same product surface, different posture: hosted in Germany, no third-party trackers, one honest price - plus the migration mechanics that decide whether the switch lands in an evening or in a quarter.
BITE BeeSite is right for large employers and corporations with complex recruiting structures: many departments, multi-stage approvals, demanding careers pages with high brand standards, deep integrations into SAP and HR landscapes. We deliberately don't have that enterprise depth. Switching
The switch goes in three rough phases: export from BITE BeeSite, import into KI BMS, and reorganise what came over. Most people allocate an evening for it. The export side is where the time goes - BITE BeeSite hands you a CSV/JSON dump and the field mapping isn't always obvious; once that's resolved the import is a couple of minutes. We don't paywall the import path or pretend it's a pro-only feature, and you can run both side-by-side while you decide.
BITE BeeSite is one of the established German enterprise recruiting suites and plays in a different depth league. Multi-stage approval workflows across many departments, fine-grained role and permission models, demanding careers pages with high brand standards, integrations into existing SAP and HR landscapes - that's exactly the complexity a corporation with thousands of employees and hundreds of parallel roles needs. If that's your reality, BITE is objectively a serious, fitting choice.
Such suites thrive on guided rollout projects in which requirements are gathered, workflows modelled and integrations built. For a large organisation that's exactly right: the complexity is real, so it needs a tool that can represent it and a vendor who guides the project.
What's strength for the corporation becomes a burden for a 15-person team. Multi-stage approvals, a hundred configuration fields and a weeks-long rollout project add no value for a small team but overhead that slows hiring. The honest truth: most small and mid-sized employers use maybe twenty percent of an enterprise suite and pay for a hundred percent - in money, in setup time and in daily operating complexity.
KI BMS is built for the other weight class. Fewer switches, a default productive on the first morning, KI screening with reasoning from the start, public prices from €0 to €10 per month and monthly cancellation. We deliberately don't build corporate depth - in return, what we build is usable in hours and doesn't cost the price of an enterprise licence.
Here the question is simple and the answer rarely contested: how large and complex is your recruiting? Large enterprise with many departments, multi-stage approvals and SAP integration -> BITE BeeSite or a comparable enterprise suite. Team up to ~100 people that wants to hire lean and fast -> ${PRODUCT}. There's little sensible middle ground: an enterprise suite for a small team is oversized, a lean specialist tool for a corporation undersized. Choose by your real size, not the one you hope to have in ten years.
Find the export option in BITE BeeSite's account settings. Most tools provide a CSV or JSON download. Save the dump locally - that's the source of truth for the next step.
Open the import tool in KI BMS. BITE BeeSite's field names rarely match KI BMS' 1:1; the import flags any unmapped columns so you can pair them up before anything commits.
Run the import. KI BMS shows a preview of the first parsed rows in the import dialog so you can sanity-check the column mapping + a sample of records before anything commits. If you're nervous about a large dump, import a small subset first, verify it landed the way you expected, then run the full file.
BITE BeeSite-specific UI metadata (custom views, saved filters, in-app annotations) doesn't transfer with the data export. Spend an evening rebuilding the views you used most - usually a 30-minute job once you've done it once.
Run both side-by-side for a couple of weeks if you want to be sure. When you're confident, cancel the BITE BeeSite subscription from their side. KI BMS keeps your export option self-serve in account settings - no lock-in either direction.
